Maingear has released a new monster called “SHIFT” – Maingear PC | Products
Now, the specs on this beast have the potential of being aggressive to say the least. If you don’t mind the gnawing your wallet will take. As in, if you took this machine to its limit like a Gundam in one of its final battles your wallet would cry to the tune of a little over $15,000.00 (yes you read that correctly). Extreme for sure and probably no one “needs” a computer with 15K worth of insides, but then again, who really “needs” a gaming computer?

Yes, I know…. I’m looking for cliffs right now on google maps. Please…. forgive me readers! *cough*
On a closing note; couldn’t they have come up with a better name for this thing? SHIFT doesn’t really strike fear into my heart… Perhaps Phase or Vortex or Event Horizon…. something to denote the mass amount of buyer’s remorse you will surely feel after your purchase. I mean, come on, at least make it sound a little mean.
SICK! Beautiful as hell though…
WTF??? Ok now I worked at Alienware so i know about expensive ass PC’s, but come on, 2,200$ for a base PC with a GTS 250. You’re paying about 1,600 dollars for the case and the rest on the parts that actually come in it. That’s just insane. That case is sick as hell though, I’d like to have it separate.
