One of the possible alternatives to Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 release in about 6 months is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. So long as they keep dedicated server support I’m definitely looking closely at this game (especially since I’m not buying CODMW2). I have watched some of the game play and demos and it reminds me of a cross between GoW, Quak (though I can’t remember which one) and sadly CODMW.
Anyway, this isn’t a review, it’s a beta announcement and with that said, us PC Gamers have another reason to want to stomp on the heads of our disowned console brethren. Why? Because PS3 users will be the first to get their hands on the beta on November 13th. PC gamers will get their hands on the beta sometime in December. It sounds like the demo will be single player and multi-player will come out for all systems next year. To get the required keys, at least for PS3 users, you will need to reserve a copy. Anyone who is tainted and owns a PS3 (we won’t hold it against you…. much) drop us a line to let us know what you think of the game.
